<p>Mitchell Super Wing U2 Experimental Ultralight Sailplane Aircraft Complete Airframe Complete airframe, just add the powerplant. All the necessary structure and main components already built for you. Includes: Custom designed and integrated with fuselage, cockpit / engine bay Fabricated and installed flight surface control hardware Independent hydraulic disc brake landing gear assemblies with spring dampening Complete instrument panel with complete wiring harness included Pilot seating with 4 point safety harness Dual 4.5 gallon fuel tanks with backup electric fuel pump Original Rotax 277 engine mounting assembly New Kohler V-Twin engine mounting assembly Original retractable struts and actuator components (you’ll have to fabricate the door open/closing mechanics.) Plus for the &#8220;But It Now&#8221; price I’ll include a copy of the original build plans. This aircraft was completed in 1991. It was used for approximately 5 years, and then placed in climate controlled storage at my residence. The original fabric is still taught, only the Blue River paint coating has begun to spider web. It is not coming off or peeling, just showing its age. In one of the pics you’ll see the surface of one of the elevons as a representation of the spider webbing. The evelon rib spacing is 6&#8243; to give you an idea of the paint condition. If you want to build one of these wonderful aircraft for yourself then 90% of the overall time consuming work has been done. You’ll just need to do the other 10% to your liking to make it airworthy to your standards. I am taking a SEVERE LOSS on this plane Comes without Engine, carburetor, magnetos, engine wiring harness, engine starter and anything shown for sale on my Lycoming O320 listed on Ebay I was in the process of putting this plane together with my A&amp;P/AI who then got notice from his company he had to work 6-7 days a week and be across the country at various times. The project was delayed for a year as he still is working those hours (he is a neighbor of mine). I looked at getting someone else, then looked at the money I spent on this plane and decided I was Done!! I bought another plane instead and then I bought another. I am selling all to purchase a Twin that I am interested in.</p>

<p>The item is being auctioned/sold as is. We had this item tested on an aviation intercom unit and works good as it should, How? We have a aviation intercom unit and most to all the adapters, U-174, and Dual GA adapter. When we test the headset we plug them in to the intercom unit and talk into the mic and see if we can hear ourselves out of both sides. History of this headset is unknown as far as hours used, date purchased, or mfg date. Overall condition is a 8 out of 10. Thanks for looking.</p>
