Description

The AMI Model 104 Flap Asymmetry Tester is an
intelligent, hand-held electronic tester that is designed to facilitate
the testing and adjustment of the left and right flap asymmetry switches
on the Gulfstream GII, GIII, and GIV aircraft. The State-of-the-art AMI
Model 104 includes the following features: An AUTO SET switch to move
the flaps automatically to a repeatable reference position, a SWITCH
POSITION DISPLAY that shows the position of each asymmetry switch for
comparison, a FLAPS LOCKED indicator, and a sensitive PHASE ERROR
indicator. It's also small enough to stow onboard the aircraft. This
tester allows the technician the ability to test both asymmetry switches
while only requiring access to one side of the aircraft, either side.
No long cables are required, so set up and take down times are cut in
