C3WA1-21 is a left-hand flap assembly used on the De Havilland DHC-3 Otter . It is part of the aircraft's high-lift system and is designed to increase lift during takeoff and increase both lift and drag during landing, allowing for slower, more controlled flight. When deployed, the flap extends downward from the wing, changing the wing's shape to improve low-speed performance and enhance the aircraft's Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities.
