This is a used Hartzell Plane-Power ALX-8521 12-Volt, 70-Amp belt-driven aircraft alternator. The unit is an uncertified, un-tested core sold in "as-removed" condition for rebuild or experimental aviation use. It features a heavy-duty Nippon Denso style housing with custom handwritten marker labels on the rear terminal plug to simplify wiring installation. The internal windings and mechanical assembly appear visually intact with normal signs of service wear.
