Description
Large vintage aircraft flexible/resilient drive coupling assembly , marked ASSY S1535-92026-1A , with matching attached identification tag. Construction consists of two coaxial flanged sections with circumferential resilient blocks positioned between the drive members, consistent with a torsional coupling designed to transmit rotary torque while cushioning shock and vibration.
The S1535-series numbering is associated with Sikorsky-era helicopter hardware, but the exact aircraft, drivetrain location, and application of this assembly have not been confirmed . The attached tag is handwritten “5 EA,” however this listing is for one assembly only .
