Description
The A-7D attribution is based on the family history, the South Dakota ANG connection and period of acquisition, and comparison with surviving examples. The South Dakota Air National Guard's 114th Tactical Fighter Group operated the LTV A-7D Corsair II from 1977 through 1992, which corresponds directly with the period in which this grip was acquired.
