Wow!! Rare historic Holley aircraft carburetor model 1685FR, serial number 102885. Manufactured during WWII for the military, the serial number indicates it is an authentic war-time production model. Holley aircraft carburetors with the model number 1685FR were used extensively on military aircraft during WWII, most notably on the B-25 Mitchell Bomber powered by the Wright Cyclone R-2600 14-cylinder radial engine. Out of the 9816 bombers that were originally built, only 100+ still survive worldwide. Carburetor appears to be complete. Great addition to your man-cave or to display!
