Description

This is a Telex Air3000 noise-reduction pilot communication headphones. Historically, pilots held this headset in high regard for its comfort, durability, portability and weight (just over 1 lb). Its performance, while lacking modern features like volume control or ANR, was considered strong for a Passive Noise Reduction (PNR) headset of its era (late 1980s – early 1990s), offering clear communications and a highly competitive 21 dB NRR (Noise Reduction Rating). Uses a straight Y-cord that is 5 ft.

The Air3000 was designed for the standard General Aviation (GA) system. Therefore, it will be compatible with most aircraft.

This has not been tested but the headset shows little to no use, so confident it will work. But if not, you are protected by eBay and I’m easy to work with.

Like new condition – comes with original boxes, instructions and other papers. This shows no wear and the cushioned areas are still soft and supple. The box shows some wear, but it did its job by protecting the goods.
