Interest in the aircraft with wings "tandem" almost completely faded
after the creation of aircraft making and firm "Westland". Yet in
1977, the idea was revived and successfully implemented in the new plane,
called "Quick" - amateur light aircraft designed by Tom Jewett, Gene
Sheehan and Burt Rutan.
As the power plant of the aircraft used two-cylinder
engine "Onan" power of 18 hp (13.2 kW).

The secret of progress on this plane high performance is the use of new
construction materials - fiberglass and foam ensures high quality of the
surface of the aircraft and use very precise laminarizovannye airfoils.
