Description
Aircraft Instrument SA-1A / ARN-1 Altitude Limit Switch. The SA-1A/ARN-1 switch was a cockpit component for the AN/APN-1 (and AYD/ARN-1) FM Radio Altimeter systems introduced during WWII. It was designed for low-altitude, terrain-following operations where maintaining a precise height above the ground or water was a matter of life and death. Untested. Sold as is.
