Aviator Trader is a classifieds site. Browsing it does not create an account.

What this site stores

  • Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved only in this browser, under the name quark2-theme. It is not sent to us. Clearing site data for aviatortrader.com removes it.
  • Pages load Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-KKT979JSPC. Google may set cookies such as _ga to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • If you post a classified, the form stores what you type: title, price, aircraft or part details, city, description, photos, and your name, email, and phone. That information is used to review and publish the ad. A paid plan sends you to PayPal to pay. PayPal processes the payment, and we receive a payment notice so the ad can be marked paid.
  • The admin area sets a session cookie named at_admin, only on /admin, and only for a signed-in administrator. Public pages do not set that cookie.
  • The web server keeps ordinary access logs: IP address, browser, page requested, and time.

eBay Partner Network

Some listings include a button that leaves this site and opens the item on eBay. Aviator Trader participates in the eBay Partner Network and may earn a commission if you buy through those links, at no extra cost to you. When the link is a Partner Network link, eBay (not this site) may set tracking cookies on ebay.com after you click, so the sale can be attributed. Opening or reading a page on aviatortrader.com does not set an eBay Partner Network cookie.

To stop that tracking, block or delete cookies for ebay.com in your browser before you continue on eBay. Blocking cookies can also stop a purchase from being credited to this site.

How to limit cookies

Use your browser’s settings to block third-party cookies, delete cookies, or browse with cookies turned off. Blocking Google cookies stops the Analytics measurement described above. Blocking ebay.com cookies stops Partner Network cookies on eBay. The theme preference is browser storage, not a cookie; clearing site data for this site removes it.
